New Zealand for Xmas and New Year's Eve

I'm in Auckland!

And Emilie aussi!

The city from the Sky Tower

The city from Devonport.

Me in Mission Bay, with Rangitoto volcano in the background. It's only 600 years old!

And then, it was Christmas, with Milou, Stu and his mum.

The girls on a little tour on Waiheke Island.

Road trip with Gus / Gibb River road, Western Australia

After 36 hours between airports and 4 flights later, I'm back in Broome!
And it's a kinda Xmas for Gus :)

On the road to Derby, little town on the west coast of Australia, we visit a boab tree prison. The aboriginals were taken from their communities to serve the pearling industry, and this was one of their stops on their way to Derby.

And it's flowering!

Then, we wash ourselves in the watering place of the free cattle roaming around.

The dear troopie in Derby.

And me

Windjana Gorge NP, Gibb River road, WA

Cool sighting of 13 crocs at the same time! All freshies.

The construction of a bower bird, right on the deserted campo ground (we're the only crazy people to travel the Gibb River road at the start of the wet season!)

A swim at the Groto, close to Wyndham, north WA

Kununurra's dam

Thailand, after Cambodia

This is a jump in time, towards the end of my journey in Asia. I don't have all my pics available right now, but I'll update this post to give you more pics of my thai trip.

Chinatown, in Bkk. Restaurant of shark fins and swallow nests.

Cambodia

After being shaken for 12 hours in 2 different minivans and queuing at the border between Thailand and Cambodia, after being ripped off by cambodian authorities and travel agencies/bus companies, I'd say: "Siem Reap, here I am!".

Here's my new home sweet home in Siem Reap. I found with my cousin's recommandation that guest house that has a dormitory on its roof. The roof's roof made of tin and the walls of plated palm leaves.
James and me will stay there, against storms and thunder...
Yeah, after the first night of rain, which came trough the grass walls, we ended up in a big puddle...

First morning in Siem Reap, we're watching Tv about something that's happening on the other side of the world: americans elections.

Little gig on the beach, no more seats available, let's enjoy it on our sandy bums :)

Alors on s'est dit, faut la faire belle:

Tous les invites etaient arrives:

Alors, ce fut la fete,

nourriture grasse et sucree....

THEN, IT'S BEEN 2 DAYS WITH TITOO.
I caught up with my cousin, Titoo, on a bike tour around Asia.

We went with our three push bikes to Jatujak market from Banglamphu. That's 20 kilometers of Bangkok's trafic. Pretty terrific!

And a little walk in the Grand Palace's gardens. Wearing lent shirts and skirts to cover our shoulders and legs.

And with Irvin, on the Grand Palace catwalk...Nice style, hey!
